Code of Ethics

Our Commitment to Ethical Conduct

We proudly uphold our Code of Ethics, which reflects our approach to advocacy and our core beliefs.

Our Conduct

We operate with integrity, transparency, and accuracy. We identify ourselves by name and organization when engaging with any political or public entity. Our communication is grounded in factual information, offering objective interpretations and analyses of events. We clearly articulate the interests we represent and engage respectfully, adhering to both ethical and legal standards.

We prioritize our stakeholders' interests while honoring legal, confidentiality, and GDPR requirements, striving to align these interests with the public good. We operate in accordance with the established rules, standards, and practices set by political organizations and institutions, including the CGR.

Our Perspective on Advocacy

Political leaders, regulatory bodies, and authorities work to balance diverse interests. A deeper understanding of the issues at hand allows them to reconcile these competing interests effectively, enhancing the political process for all stakeholders. As advocates for the dwarfism community, we are dedicated to educating decision-makers on relevant issues and championing their perspectives. To do this effectively, we must clearly express the community's concerns and convey them in an engaging manner.

Our Expectations from Political Institutions

We believe political institutions should enhance the political process by:

  • Ensuring equitable access for representatives of all interests, provided these interests are clearly defined.
  • Offering fair opportunities for any interest to present its case, as long as contributions are timely, relevant, and respectful.
  • Fostering relationships between government bodies and stakeholders based on high standards of research, analysis, presentation, and understanding of the political landscape.

Our Purpose in Action

Our mission is to create a positive impact in advocacy and inclusion throughout all our operations. To fulfill this mission, we empower our community to effectively communicate their concerns to policymakers and regulators. With expertise in navigating political and institutional dynamics, we understand our community's needs and the challenges faced by political and public institutions. We believe that institutions should actively support these initiatives, recognize diverse viewpoints, and facilitate the reconciliation of differing interests.

Funding Transparency

Empowered By Us is committed to maintaining transparency and integrity in all aspects of our operations. We acknowledge that we receive funding from various sources, including grants, donations, and partnerships. We ensure that all funding is used in alignment with our values and ethical standards.

We are dedicated to disclosing potential conflicts of interest that may arise from these funding sources and will strive to uphold the highest level of accountability in our financial practices.
